Which provinces are using computer-based testing and how is it implemented? What specific needs are being met through technology assisted assessment? How are the security issues associated with computer-based testing managed? How are schools or districts using computer-based testing and for what purposes?
This research symposium will address these and many other critical questions that educators and policymakers have regarding the promise and the implementation of computer assisted assessment. The symposium will draw upon the most recent research in the field with a focus on policy and practice for K-12 education within the Canadian context.
